Solid wood deserves a finish that not only highlights its beauty but also protects it from everyday life. Our indoor finish will hold up to almost any normal spill in your home, from water to wine, to hot coffee.

All of our products go through a five step finishing process to highlight the natural beauty and grain patterns of our selected American hardwoods. We begin the process with either a dip or spray coat of oil based stain. We use a pigment rich stain that is then hand rubbed into each piece to create a uniform color while drawing the natural beauty out of the grain. Next it is sprayed with a coat of sealer on the parts with an air-assisted-airless gun. This seals in the stain and protects the wood from any moisture. After it travels through our oven to dry, we hand sand each piece with fine sandpaper to smooth any raised grain. The parts then get their final top coat of lacquer with a satin gloss to give the piece a rich smooth finish. Our lacquer is stain resistant and has an easy wipe off finish for any hot or cold spills from water to alcohol to hot coffee.

Our outdoor items go through a five step process that begins with a primer coat of water-based exterior paint. After this dries we hand sand each piece and then spray a top coat of paint. Once this coat dries we than scuff sand any rough pieces and spray a second top coat of our durable exterior paint. The result is a strong durable finish that will protect your outdoor pieces in the outdoor elements.

Being responsible about our environment we use an HVLP (high volume low pressure) spray system to get the best finish while improving the efficiency. We have less overspray and a smoother pattern to give a solid finish. After the primer dries we hand sand each piece to smooth any raised grain. We spray our first top coat and after it dries we hand sand again. Finally we spray a second top coat leaving a durable exterior weather resistant finish.
