Stylish…Convenient…Practical… The perfect look for function and display, our Nesting Shaker Tables offer an array of uses around the home. Ideal for small space solutions and built to last from American solid hardwood.
In the late 1970’s and early 1980’s we made TV tray tables, sets of 3 stacking tables and basic nesting tables. Each of these items allowed people to be able to quickly expand their living space to accommodate friends and extended family to enjoy visits while creating extra serving/table space for dining, cocktail parties, games, and snacks.
The nesting sets come with 3 different sized tables to slide under each other to take as little space as possible while being able to quickly pull out and move around the room or home to give you more serving/usable tabletop space. They were basically designed to take the place of an end table in a room and have the 2 additional tables hidden underneath the largest table.
Shaker has been a tried and true design that fits in with all decors, contemporary, as well as traditional settings. Our newly designed nesting set is based on the success of the chairside tables we developed to fit in narrow, tight spaces in your room and allow you to have usable tabletop space. We decided to offer another chairside option, but this time bring back the nesting table design and make it to fit narrow spaces since our chairside tables have been so popular. These tables not only are used as expanded table space but are designed even to be used as extra seating space, or to be used as stools based on the sturdy design with heavy metal corner brackets and 6/4” solid ash legs. We also decided to offer the traditional set of 3 as well as add a set of 2 for people who wanted the extra table but didn’t find the need for a third.
Nesting tables have been used as plant stands, stools, end tables, game tables, serving snack tables, party tables, stack your magazines or books on them, and now your electronic devices – all while using very little floor space in your rooms.
We hope you enjoy them as much as we’ve enjoyed making them for you.
